In this journey of life, there are two paths. One path, well traveled as it is, keeps us in the existence of survival—never fully knowing ourselves, never fully knowing others, and never finding the abundant life for which we were searching. We spend our existence toiling to make life happen and all it gets us is a grave, a marker, and a date. The other path leads to full life—a path along the heights that is rough going, yet joyous and full. This is the way of the heart. On this path our hearts become clarified and freed and made new. Once we decide to leave the path of survival and travel on the path of life, we must journey back to our hearts and begin again. We must acknowledge that the very nature of life proves that we need to be reborn so the survivor-self can die and the true self can arise. Since 1996, CPE’s compassionate and gifted staff has dedicated itself to helping heal professional men who are trapped in cycles of addictions and destructive behaviors so they can utilize and fulfill their gifts, skills, and character.
